Ok, I honestly was waiting to post this because I wanted everything to be in uniform Chicago-style format, but I realize if I don’t put something up soon I never will, so I might as well put down a few…
Sharon: “Follow Me to Freedom” by Shane Claiborne and John Perkins. This is a fantastic book that everyone should read.
“Tres Tazas de Té” by Greg Mortenson. More commonly known as “Three Cups of Tea,” I am making an attempt to read this in Spanish; it’s about a guy who gets lost climbing K2, wanders into a village, is amazed by the people there, and starts building schools. It’s pretty interesting and uplifting so far.
Tyler: “The Black Prism” by Brent Weeks. Tyler’s high school English teacher wrote a trilogy of fantasy novels; this is the newest hardback release of a second trilogy he just started.
In Our Current “To Read” Pile
“Selected Poems” – Pablo Neruda. A collection of famous poems, in English and Spanish, by a famous Chilean author; I believe he a won a Nobel Prize.
“Collected Fictions” – Jorge Luis Borges. Short stories by Argentina’s most famous author, and also a goodbye gift from my boss. First in English, next in Spanish.
“El Principito” – also known as “the Little Prince,” Tyler picked up a copy of this at Powell’s to try to read. Classic.
Great Books we Reccommend

“the Irresistible Revolution” by Shane Claiborne. His first book, which will also change some perspectives if you let it.
